About

Founded in 2011, in Bad Kreuznach (Germany), "Soliath Lake" (formerly know as "Reserved") is a Crossover/Alternative Rock band consisting initially Benedict Baumgaertner, Eduard Messmer and Steven Werthwein. The name of the band was inspired by the crystal "sodalite" ("sodalith" in Deutsch), according to Benedict.

Their first record is the song "Somewhere Else", when the band was called "Reserved".
In 2013, ASM Records seems to notice their talent and at 07/14, they signed a contract to record a whole CD. They had to change the band's name due to copyrights and they chose Soliath Lake. After that, they started to work on "Re / Served" album, which was later released on 2017/03/01.

Through the years of producing "Re / Served", the band's members changed quite a bit. Benedict, Eduard and Steven started working on songs, later including a new member. But then, by about a couple of years after signing the contract, Eduard and Steven decided to take the band back to the roots (or there were internal disagreements) and only the both of them followed with the production of the album. By the last 3 years of the album producing, Pascal Schwinn, Arian Schneberger and Bastian Fricke joined the band.

In 2017/03/01, the band's first album was finally released and the next months were followed by a sequence of shows around Germany and the creation of SL Inside (their fanclub).

In 2018, "Trust" were nominated to The 16th Independent Music Awards, and so they went to New York to participate.
